hit and miss

Once I had my hair cut and blowdried and another blowdried without any issues. To the contrary even got a discount for my birthday and my hair looked great. I was seen by a tall and slim brunette with curly hair. She was absolutely brilliant. On the contrary, I had my hair dyed by someone called Jennifer today who bleached my hair way too much, and then used a toner to 'blend in' the highlights, which in essence made them vanish completely. Then, they had a £20 off banner on the window which didn't say it starts in July, so I assumed it would be valid but it wasn't and had to stay there for 3 hours, leaving the salon not very different to when I went in having paid £90. Just a rip off. They mentioned that they were 1 staff member down, but in my view they would have been better off cancelling a couple of appointments if they couldn't cope rather than cram us all in and create some disgruntled customers. Another lady next to me had similar problems with her colour which was left way too long...
